The Garfield Law Group has devoted itself exclusively to immigration law practice for 35 years. The legal work product of the firm is performed by our attorneys, and not paralegals. The firm’s five full-time attorneys – David Garfield, Catherine Reynolds, Meredith Jolie, Jane Park and Daniel Diskin – total more than 65 years of diverse immigration experience. Our foreign language capabilities include Spanish, Amharic, Tigrinya, and Korean. We have submitted thousands of immigrant and nonimmigrant petitions and visa applications, for clients throughout the world. Similarly, we have represented thousands of clients navigating removal proceedings throughout the United States.
The cohesiveness and stability of the firm is embodied by the fact that three of the firm’s attorneys have worked together for over 10 years. We have collaborative helped to shape immigration law with four precedent decisions in the three different federal courts of appeals. Menghesha v. Gonzales, 450 F.3d 142 (4th Cir.2006), Naizgi v. Gonzales, 455 F.3d 484 (4th Cir.2006), Haile v. Holder, 591 F.3d 572 (7th Cir.2010), and Berhane v. Holder, 606 F.3d 819, (6th Cir. 2010).
