Saron Berhe


Saron Berhe is an associate attorney. She graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in 2020 with her Juris Doctorate and obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Buffalo in 2016. She worked as an intern with Garfield Law Group, PC during her 3L year before accepting a position as an associate attorney.

During her time at GLG, her work has revolved around asylum and removal proceeding cases. She has also assisted clients in filing Motions to Reopen following unsuccessful past asylum claims; family-based petitions; adjustments of status; and she has successfully advocated for the expedite of cases and applications which have been pending for years on behalf of her clients.

She has also worked with clients on filing employment-based visas, particularly EB-1 applications for those with extraordinary ability in business. In addition to assisting clients through the process of preparing documentation and evidence for immigration court or USCIS proceedings, she has also attended interviews and hearings with clients where she attempts to provide a calming presence during an undoubtedly stressful and life-altering event.

Ms. Berhe hopes to continue providing legal guidance with candor while also balancing her client’s needs for clarity, support, and humanity in understanding a quickly evolving and often challenging field. Ms. Berhe is fluent in Tigrinya.   

Ms. Berhe is admitted to practice law New York Bar.
